I co-organized the Future Cities Project, a collaboration between the Octavia Project, Pratt Center for Community Development, and DivComm. Funded by a Taconic Fellowship Grant, the project took place from Fall 2019 through Spring 2020. As a co-organizer, I worked alongside urban planners from Pratt Center, educators from the Octavia Project, and partners at DivComm to develop an engaging curriculum of activities, workshops, and games that introduced young people to pressing urban issues. Over six months, we supported teen fellows as they explored urban planning concepts, engaged with communities, tested existing activities, and developed new teaching tools for their peers.
